Ementa

A disciplina discute o papel do empreendedorismo no crescimento e desenvolvimento econômico, bem como o do Estado e de instituições de fomento na construção de um ecossistema empreendedor. Ao adotar uma perspectiva teórico-prática, aborda tanto os principais eixos teóricos relacionados à temática quanto práticas internacionais e locais de apoio às micro e pequenas empresas, além de casos de sucesso de atividades empreendedoras que promoveram o desenvolvimento de cidades ou países. Através da análise de clusters, de fatores de longevidade e mortalidade e do papel das incubadoras de ideias e aceleradoras de novos negócios, buscar-se-á o entendimento da importância socioeconômica do empreendedorismo e das empresas de menor porte em diferentes contextos de tempo e espaço.
